Do you know where Britain`s oldest intentional forest garden is?

Our good friends at the Red Shed in Coldstream, Berwickshire has Britain`s oldest intentional garden and they are inviting the public to visit and see their Forest Garden which supports dozens of varieties of apples, pears, plums, hazelnuts, chestnuts, walnuts, red, white and black currants, gooseberries, a range of hybrid berries (including worcesterberries and loganberries), raspberries, strawberries, blackberries and some more exotic species, such as American and Asian chokeberries and walnut species. In addition, the community group is hosting a weekend course on how to establish a forest garden. Contact Graham Bell on sales@grahambell.org or visit their website on http://www.grahambell.org Make the most of your summer!
